溶剂对玻纤增强树脂基复合材料力学性能的影响

摘要: 采用真空辅助树脂传递模塑工艺(VARTM)制备了玻纤增强酯树脂基复合材料,研究了不同化学溶剂对该复合材料力学性能的影响,利用扫描电镜(SEM)对复合材料的断口形貌进行了观察,并分析了其性能变化的原因。结果表明,该复合材料具有一定的抗腐蚀能力,在溶剂中浸泡180d后,其模量基本保持不变,由于界面结合减弱使复合材料强度约有5%~10%的下降,对其力学性能的变化规律没有影响,这为复合材料的工程应用提供了技术支持。

Abstract: Glass fiber reinforced vinyl resin composites were prepared by vacuum aided resin transfer molding process (VARTM). The influence of different solvents on mechanical properties of composite was investigated, and the fracture morphology was studied by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), for mechanical property analysis. The results indicated that the prepared composites exhibited considerable corrosion-resistance behaviors, where the modulus of the composites nearly maintained its level after being immersed in the solvents for 180 days, while its bending strength or tensile strength slightly decreased by 5%~10%, due to the reduction of interface bonding strength, showing neglectable influence on their mechanical performances. All of these results provided the technical supports for the engineering applications of composites.
