芳纶纤维增强聚苯醚/尼龙6合金的性能研究

IMPROVED PROPERTIES FOR POLYPHENYLENE OXIDE/NYLON 6 ALLOY REINFORCED BY ARAMID FIBER

摘要: 通过马来酸酐接枝苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物(SEBS-MAH)对聚苯醚/尼龙6(PPO/PA6)合金进行增容增韧改性,制备芳纶纤维(AF)增强PPO/PA6/SEBS-MAH复合材料。实验结果表明:SEBS-MAH能够提高PPO/PA6共混体系的相容性,并且能够提高其力学性能,添加10份SEBS-MAH比不添加SEBS-MAH共混体系的拉伸、弯曲和冲击强度各增加了19.1%、49.3%和46.8%,共混物的玻璃化转变温度得到提高;AF能够提高PPO/PA6/SEBS-MAH共混体系的力学性能以及摩擦性能,并使共混体系的刚性得到提高,添加7.5份AF的复合材料的拉伸、弯曲和冲击强度分别比未添加AF时提高了22.1%、13.1%和12.9%,摩擦系数降低了0.18。

Abstract: Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) is a high strength engineering plastic with high melt viscosity, while aramid fibers (AF) is a high-tech fibers with good mechanical performance and smooth surface. Thus, the impregnation effect of AF in PPO matrix is very poor. In order to prepare PPO reinforced by AF composite materials, the surface of the AF can be modifided through the plasma by adding oxygenous groups on the one hand, preparing PPO/nylon 6(PA6) blend to reduce the melting viscosity on the other hand. In this article, polyphenylene oxide/nylon 6 (PPO/PA6) alloy modified by styrene-butadiene copolymer grafted by maleic anhydride (SEBS-MAH) were studied, and the PA6/PPO/SEBS-MAH composite materials reinforced by aramid fiber were prepared. Experimental results show that PA6 can improve the processing property of PPO/PA6 system and reduce the melting viscosity. SEBS-MAH can improve the compatibility of PPO/PA6 blend system, mechanical properties and the glass transition temperature of blend. Aramid fiber (AF) can improve the PA6/PPO/SEBS-MAH mechanical properties and friction properties of blending system. And, the rigidity of the blend system was improved as shown by the Tanδ-temperature curves.
