SANDWICH COMPOSITES WITH ALUMINUM SKIN

摘要:

本文采用落锤冲击试验机对铝蒙皮整体中空夹层复合材料进行了低速冲击试验。利用加速度传感器记录落锤冲击过程中加速度随时间变化曲线,通过数学处理得到了冲击载荷、冲击点位移、材料损伤吸收能量随时间的变化曲线。探讨了铝蒙皮对整体中空夹层复合材料的低速冲击特性,如最大冲击载荷、冲击点最大位移和材料损伤时能量吸收等的影响。结果表明,附加铝蒙皮后,整体中空夹层复合材料的接触刚度、最大冲击载荷以及材料的初始损伤能量都有明显增加。

Abstract:

This paper presents experimental investigations on lowvelocity impact response of hollow integrated sandwich composites with aluminum skin by using dropweight method. The drop weight during impacting is obtained and recorded by acceleration transducer and the corresponding signal processing system. Based on the acceleration record, the impact force and impact displacement, energy absorption versus time can be calculated. The effects of aluminum skin on the impact characteristics such as peak force, contact duration, maximum deflection and absorbed energy are also examined. Results of the study indicate that the provision of additional aluminum skin enhances the damage resistance, such as contact stiffness, the peak load and initial damage of energy.
