OPTIMISING THE FLOW PIPE ARRANGEMENT FOR RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING

摘要:

RTM工艺中,树脂在管道中的流动符合达西定律的条件为流体的层流运动且雷诺数小于1。本文通过改变RTM工艺中管道的出入口长度和直径大小,采用有限元法,对管道中树脂的流动进行模拟,得出出口的速度与雷诺数的关系式和常用管道中树脂的流动速度范围。结果表明,出口速度跟长度关系不大,但跟管道的直径比有关。当进口直径分别为6mm、10mm、16mm、20mm,出口段的直径分别为6mm、10mm、16mm时,速度的最大值分别为694.442mm/s、416.667 mm/s和260.414mm/s。

Abstract:

In RTM process,the condition,which the flow of resin in the pipeline accords with the Darcy's law is laminar fluid movement,and the Reynolds number is less than 1.This paper used the finite element method by changing the size of length and diameter of the import and export pipeline,simulated the flow of the resin in the pipeline.In the result,the relationship of the speed on the exports and Reynolds number,also the scope of flow rate of the resin in the pipes can be gained.The test result shows that:exit velocity has little to do with the length,but the ra- tio of pipeline diameter.When the diameter of imports is 6 mm、10mm、16mm and 20mm,and the diameter of exports is 6 mm,10mm and 16 mm respectively,the maximum speed is 694.442 mm/s,416.667 mm/s and 260.414 mm/s.
