PBO纤维与环氧树脂界面粘结性能及其影响因素研究

摘要: 对比了国产及进口聚对苯撑苯并二噁唑(PBO)纤维的物理化学特性及其与环氧树脂的界面粘结性能;研制了两种环氧树脂体系,利用静态接触角法测试了树脂对纤维的浸润性,利用微脱粘方法测试了树脂与PBO纤维的界面剪切强度;通过湿法缠绕成型工艺制备了PBO纤维/环氧树脂复合材料单向板,测试了其层间剪切强度,分析了树脂体系及工艺对层间剪切强度的影响。结果表明,国产PBO纤维与进口PBO纤维物理性能相近,进口纤维表面活性基团含量较高,与环氧树脂的界面剪切强度更高,树脂中加入偶联剂可以改善界面的粘结性能;所研制的环氧树脂与纤维间浸润性较好,界面剪切强度较高;复合材料单向板层间剪切强度最高达到48 MPa,并认为纤维含量、树脂模量对层间剪切性能有一定影响。

Abstract: In this study, physical and chemical properties and interfacial adhesion with epoxy of domestic and imported poly-p-phenylene benzobisoxazole (PBO) fibers were studied. Two kinds of epoxy systems were developed. Wettability between these resins and fibers was evaluated using static contact angle method, and interfacial shear strength (IFSS) between PBO fiber and resin was measured by single fiber pull-out test. Unidirectional PBO/epoxy composite laminate was fabricated using wet winding molding process. Then, interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) was tested, and the effects of resin matrix and process conditions on ILSS were analyzed. Experimental results show that physical properties of domestic and imported PBO fiber are similar, but imported PBO fiber has higher content of surface active groups and higher IFSS with epoxy resin. Moreover, adding coupling agent into resin can improve interfacial shear strength. The developed resin systems show good wettability and interfacial adhesion with PBO fiber. Their ILSS can reach 48 MPa, and fiber content and modulus of resin matrix are believed to affect ILSS.
